Owner-side Stewardship for complex private homes

Someone on your side of the table.

Your Steward represents you and the home as one thing, from before bidding through construction and long after move-in. Your professionals remain responsible for their work. Every decision remains yours.

The problem

Everyone who builds it understands one part. Nobody signed for the whole.

Each professional may perfectly understand the part they were hired to deliver. Read the agreements. Each one ends at the edge of that part.

Architect

Form, space and design intent.

Signs for
The design intent, the drawings and code compliance.
Ends at
What actually gets built, and what it costs.

Engineers

Spans, loads and the systems that hold.

Signs for
The structural system and the loads it carries.
Ends at
Finishes, sequencing and the schedule.

Landscape & hardscape

Grading, drainage, planting and the ground you walk on.

Signs for
Grading, drainage and the planting plan.
Ends at
How it meets the architecture and the lighting.

General contractor

Price, sequence and the work in their own scope.

Signs for
The price quoted and the work in their scope.
Ends at
Everything the others assumed someone else would do.

Sub-contractors

HVAC, plumbers, electricians, carpenters. One trade, one line item, one narrow slice of the build.

Signs for
Their own trade, to their own contract and schedule.
Ends at
Anything outside their line item, and how it meets the rest.

Everyone else

Who wants a piece of your project. Each with something to sell, install or service.

Signs for
Whatever they can sell, install or service.
Ends at
The part that overlaps everyone else's.

Do not take our word for whose side we are on. Look at how we are paid.

Our service fee is agreed when the scope and planned construction budget are approved. No choice of contractor, supplier, material or solution increases our fee.

What happens next

Three steps. That is the beginning.

Plans, bids or construction. We begin with what is already happening, show you what needs attention, and let you decide whether Crewzz fits.

    Tell us where it stands.

Plans, bids or construction. We begin with what is already happening.

  2. 02

    See what needs attention.

You see the open questions, where they can become expensive and what should happen next.

  3. 03

    Decide if Crewzz fits.

If we are right for the project, your Steward represents you through the work and after it.

What arrives for your approval

Every decision, packaged the same way.

A price by itself is not an answer. Your Steward puts the reason, responsibility, money and timing in front of you before you approve.

“A number on its own is not a decision.”

In their words

What owners tell us.

Short films from homeowners, in their own homes. Each plays here when you choose it.

“Better than we ever imagined.”

Every detail feels designed around the way we actually live, cook and entertain. The vision and execution were spectacular, and they stayed involved until everything was finished to our satisfaction.

Jill · Miller Ranch project

“They completely transformed how we live.”

They listened to what we wanted and created beautiful, open spaces that still feel warm and comfortable. The quality was exceptional, and we couldn’t be happier with our home.

Owner story

“We always felt like they were looking out for us.”

Everything felt coordinated and easy. They listened, kept us informed and truly understood what we wanted. Our home turned out just as beautiful as we imagined.

Owner story

Oren Dagan, founder of Crewzz

The founder

It began on the homeowner’s side.

Crewzz began with a homeowner who could not hire the role he needed. So he became it. Oren Dagan’s own remodeling experience in 2006 led him into residential construction, and into one lasting question: who is looking after the homeowner when every professional has a different part to deliver?

The homes behind the stories

Complex private homes, finished and lived in.

Real homes, photographed as they are today. Each one began with drawings, bids and a long list of decisions.

Project by SOD Home Group, a separate design-build company under common ownership with Crewzz.

After move-in

The house is finished. But the relationship continues.

Construction ends, and then each team moves on. But your home's needs don't. Maintenance, repairs, landscaping, renovations, future improvements. The list goes on.

What you need is someone who knows your home, the people who live in it, and its history. Someone who stays involved long after everyone else has moved on. That's Crewzz: your home's Steward, long after the keys are handed over.

Ongoing stewardship

Questions worth asking

If yours is not here, ask us directly.

The first conversation is the fastest way to an answer.

What does a Steward actually do?

Your Steward represents you and the home as one thing. Between the drawings, specifications and scopes we find the questions nobody has asked yet, send each one to the professional whose job it is to answer it, and package every decision for you the same way: what happened, what the options are, what each one costs, what it does to the schedule, and what we believe should happen. Your professionals stay responsible for their work. Every decision stays yours.

When should we bring Crewzz in?

Before the next commitment. Plans, bids or construction already underway: we begin with what is already happening. It is easiest to close the gap before contractors price the work, but a project that has already started still benefits from someone on your side of the table.

Do you replace our architect, builder or designer?

No. Your architect, builder, designer and trades remain responsible for their own work, and their agreements stay exactly as they are. Crewzz adds one accountable person on your side: someone who follows the whole project rather than one discipline within it.

How is this different from a project manager?

A project manager keeps the work moving. A Steward signs for the whole. That means watching the gaps between trades, keeping scope, bids and decisions comparable, and staying with the home from the first conversation through the work itself and long after the last trade has packed up.

What does the first conversation look like?

Bring us the drawings and the bids. We will show you what each number includes, what it quietly assumes, what it leaves out, and what deserves your attention next, in plain language. Then you decide whether Crewzz fits the project. There is no obligation to continue.

How long does Crewzz stay involved?

For as long as the home needs us. Stewardship begins before bidding and continues through construction, close-out and the years after move-in, because most of what decides how a home performs is settled long before it is finished.

Can Crewzz help with wellness?

Yes. Air, water, light, sound, temperature and materials are decisions made early, while the drawings are still open. Getting them right at that stage is straightforward; correcting them once the walls are closed is expensive. We keep those questions connected to the rest of the project.

Who is behind Crewzz?

Crewzz was founded by Oren Dagan, whose own remodeling experience in 2006 led him into residential construction. Standing on the homeowner's side of that table showed him how much of a project is decided in the gaps between trades. That question shaped Crewzz into a dedicated Stewardship relationship.
